DISCUSSION AND VOTING ON DEMANDS FOR GRANTS FOR THE YEAR 2023-2024
|
Discussion And Voting On Demands For Grants For The Year 2023-2024
Out of 42 Demands for Grants for the fiscal year 2023-2024, cut motions were received in seven Demands from the Opposition Members; these Demands include: Irrigation and Land Reclamation, Police, Education, Health Services, Agriculture, Civil Works and Communications.
The Minister for Finance moved Demands for Grants. Cut motions were moved in them and discussed by Mr Shahab Ud Din Khan, Mr Junaid Afzal Sahi, Mr Waqas Mahmood Maan, Mr Hassan Ali, MPAs. The cut motions were voted out and the Demands for Grants were assented to by the Assembly.
The remaining Demands for Grants were assented to by the House after application of Rule 144 of the Rules of Procedure of Provincial Assembly of the Punjab 1997.
Laying of the Schedule of Authorized Expenditure Minister for Finance laid Schedule of Authorized Expenditure for the year 2023-24 on the Table of the House. |
