1. THE COOPERATIVE SOCIETIES (AMENDMENT) BILL 2005 (Bill No.24 of 2005)
A MINISTER to move that the Cooperative Societies (Amendment) Bill 2005, as recommended by Standing Committee on Cooperatives, be taken into consideration at once.

CALL ATTENTION NOTICES:-
Call Attention Notice moved by Mr. Sami Ullah Khan regarding kidnapping for ransom of Hafiz Usman, school teacher at village Hedyara Lahore was answered by Mr. Muhammad Basharat Raja, Minister for Law & Parliamentary Affairs and was disposed of.

PRIVILEGE MOTIONS:-
Four Privilege Motions were moved which were kept pending. The motions were moved by Mehr Ishtiaq Ahmad, Syed Ihsan Ullah Waqas, Mst. Noor un Nisa Malik and Malik Muhammad Iqbal Channer.
ADJOURNMENT MOTIONS:-
Total eight number of Adjournment Motions were moved. Out of which 3 Adjournment Motions moved by Zaib-un-Nisa Qureshi, Lala Shakeel ur Rehman and Dr. Muhammad Javed Siddiqui were kept pending till 13-6-2006, on the request of Mr. Muhammad Basharat Raja, Minister for Law & Parliamentary Affairs. While one Adjournment Motion moved by Dr. Muhammad Javed Siddiqui was disposed of due to the absence of mover.
- Mr. Muhammad Waqas moved Adjournment Motion regarding spread of bird flu virus in the province and its confirmation by the Government was replied by Ch. Khalid Mehmood, Parliamentary Secretary for Livestock & Dairy Development and was disposed of.
- Adjournment Motion moved by Ch. Zahid Pervaiz was about increase of fare for urban transport. The motion was replied by Rana Shamshad Ahmad Khan, Minister for Transport and was disposed of.
- Adjournment Motion moved by Lala Shakeel-ur-Rehman regarding rape of a woman by dacoits during dacoity at Rasoolan Bhattian was answered by Mr. Muhammad Basharat Raja, Minister for Law & Parliamentary Affairs and was disposed of.
Adjournment Motion moved by Mst. Uzma Zahid Bokhari regarding killing of Mr. Fiaz by Mr. Nasir Tarar at village Wanke Tarar was replied by Mr. Muhammad Basharat Raja, Minister for Law & Parliamentary Affairs and was disposed of.
LAYING OF COMMITTEE REPORT:-
On a motion moved by Mian Majid Nawaz, the House granted extension in the time limit up to 31 July, 2006 for laying the report of the Standing Committee for Revenue, Relief and Consolidation on “The Punjab Prohibition of Private Money Lending Bill 2003 (Bill No. 24 of 2003)” moved by Mrs. Humera Owais.
GOVERNMENT BUSINESS:-
Mr. Muhammad Basharat Raja, Minister for Law & Parliamentary Affairs moved that “The Cooperative Societies (Amendment) Bill 2005 (Bill No. 24 of 2005)”, as recommended by the Standing Committee for Cooperatives be taken into consideration at once. However at this stage the sitting was suspended for lack of quorum and the House was adjourned till 10.00 am, on Tuesday, 13 June, 2006
