Resolutions
Mr Muhammad Hashim Dogar, Minister for Home & Prisons moved a Resolution that negative tactics of current imported Government and its 13 allied parties could neither damage the image of Mr. Imran Khan nor defeat him in elections. After failure in these negative tactics, Federal Minister for Information, Ms Maryam Aurangzeb and Director News Current Affairs, PTV, arranged a news conference of Federal Minister Mr Javed Latif on 14 September, in which he delivered a concocted and provocative speech stirring religious emotions of public against Mr Imran Khan. The mover strongly condemned this negative activity of Mr Javed Latif and stated that if any harm occurs to Mr Imran Khan, Mr Javed Latif, Ms Maryam Aurangzeb, MD and Director, Current Affairs, PTV, would be responsible. In past such provocative and hateful speeches created panic which harmed the public life and property. The narrative issued by Federal Minister Mr Javed Latif reflected the narrative of his party and it would endanger the life of Mr Imran Khan, Chairman, Tehreek-e-Insaf. The mover strongly condemned religious card used against political rivals and demanded to take strict disciplinary action against Mr Javed Latif, Ms Maryam Aurangzeb, MD and Director, PTV.
Mr Ali Afzal Sahi, Minister for Communication & Works moved a Resolution strongly condemning illegal raid on 13 September 2022, at the house of Senator Saif Ullah Niazi, a PTI Leader, by FIA Cyber Crime Wing. During this raid, they took away his Mobile Phone, Laptop, others valuables and harassed his family. It is pertinent that during the raid at night, no female official was accompanying them and demanded the Federal Government to take legal action against those, involved in this raid at the earliest.
Mr. Muhammad Basharat Raja, Minister for Cooperatives, Environment Protection & Parliamentary Affairs moved a Resolution that as per print and electronic media reports published on 13 September 2022, Prime Minister Mr Shahbaz Sharif, who was facing charges of corruption and money laundering, consulted in UK with an absconder for whom he was a guarantor, sensitive national issues including the appointment of the Army Chief. The oath of Prime Minister refrains him from sharing such sensitive national issues with an unrelated person. The Prime Minister of Pakistan had violated Articles 5 & 6 of the Constitution by sharing such sensitive national issues with an absconder and should be tried under the said Articles.
The House was then adjourned at 06:40 p.m. to meet on Wednesday, September 21, 2022 at 03:00 p.m.
