Question Hour
Questions relating to Communication & Works Department were asked and answered by Mr. Shahab-Ud-Din Khan, the concerned Parliamentary Secretary.
Call Attention Notices
Three Call Attention Notices were taken up. The Notice of Mr Sami Ullah Khan moved on 03-09-2020 regarding murder of four persons in target killing at Punjab Housing Society Lahore, was kept pending. The Notice moved by Syed Hassan Murtaza regarding an incident occurred on 9 September 2020 i.e. rape of a woman and looting her cash and jewellery at Sialkot Motorway within the premises of Gujjarpura Police Station, Lahore and the Notice moved by Ch Iftikhar Hussain Chhachhar regarding rape of a woman and looting cash and other valuables from her family at gun point within the premises of Raiwind City Police Station, Lahore were disposed of after replied by Mr. Muhammad Basharat Raja, Minister for Law & Parliamentary Affairs.
Adjournment Motions
Two Adjournment Motions were taken up. The Motion moved by Ms Khadija Umer regarding rape with 62 girls and women in different areas of Lahore during last seven month and the second Motion moved by Syed Hassan Murtaza regarding occurrence of thefts and dacoity at GOR-III residential colony of Punjab Government by the employees residing in servant quarters in connivance with the concerned SDO because Police was deputed on both gates of the colony hence, residents were insecure and unable to perform their officials duties satisfactorily, were kept pending on the request of Mr. Muhammad Basharat Raja, Minister for Law & Parliamentary Affairs.

Laying of Ordinances
Mr. Muhammad Basharat Raja, Minister for Law & Parliamentary Affairs laid the following Ordinances before the House, which were referred to the Special Committee No.12 with the directions to submit their reports within two months:-
1. THE PUNJAB INFECTIOUS DISEASES (PREVENTION AND CONTROL) (AMENDMENT) ORDINANCE 2020; and
2. THE SUGAR FACTORIES (CONTROL) (AMENDMENT) ORDINANCE 2020.
Introduction of Bills
Mr. Muhammad Basharat Raja, Minister for Law & Parliamentary Affairs introduced the following Bills, which were referred to the concerned Standing Committees with the directions to submit their report within two months:
1. THE PUNJAB PROCUREMENT REGULATORY AUTHORITY (AMENDMENT) BILL 2020; and
2. THE STAMP (AMENDMENT) BILL 2020.
General Discussion
General Discussion on Price Control and Law & Order continued for the second day. Mr Sami Ullah Khan, Syed Usman Mehmood and Mr Muhammad Aslam Iqbal, Minister for Industries, Commerce & Investment participated in the discussion.
The House was then adjourned at 06:54 p.m. to meet on Tuesday, October 13, 2020 at 02:00 p.m.
