(a) INTRODUCTION, CONSIDERATION AND PASSAGE OF BILL
THE PUNJAB TAHAFFUZ-E-BUNYAAD-E-ISLAM BILL 2020
A MINISTER to introduce the Punjab Tahaffuz-e-Bunyaad-e-Islam Bill 2020.
A MINISTER to move that the requirements of rules 93, 94 and 95 and all other relevant rules of the Rules of Procedure of the Provincial Assembly of the Punjab 1997 may be suspended under rule 234 of the said Rules, for immediate consideration of the Punjab Tahaffuz-e-Bunyaad-e-Islam Bill 2020.
A MINISTER to move that the Punjab Tahaffuz-e-Bunyaad-e-Islam Bill 2020, be taken into consideration at once.
A MINISTER to move that the Punjab Tahaffuz-e-Bunyaad-e-Islam Bill 2020, be passed.
(b) CONSIDERATION AND PASSAGE OF BILLS
1. THE RAVI URBAN DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY BILL 2020 (BILL NO. 16 OF 2020)
A MINISTER to move that the requirements of Rule 95 of the Rules of Procedure of the Provincial Assembly of the Punjab 1997 may be dispensed with under Rule 234 of the said rules, for immediate consideration of the Ravi Urban Development Authority Bill 2020.
A MINISTER to move that the Ravi Urban Development Authority Bill 2020, as recommended by Special Committee No.8, be taken into consideration at once.
A MINISTER to move that the Ravi Urban Development Authority Bill 2020, be passed.
2. THE PUNJAB UNDESIRABLE COOPERATIVE SOCIETIES (DISSOLUTION) (AMENDMENT) BILL 2020 (BILL NO. 17 OF 2020)
A MINISTER to move that the requirements of Rule 95 of the Rules of Procedure of the Provincial Assembly of the Punjab 1997 may be dispensed with under Rule 234 of the said rules, for immediate consideration of the Punjab Undesirable Cooperative Societies (Dissolution) (Amendment) Bill 2020.
A MINISTER to move that the Punjab Undesirable Cooperative Societies (Dissolution) (Amendment) Bill 2020, as recommended by Special Committee No.8, be taken into consideration at once.
A MINISTER to move that the Punjab Undesirable Cooperative Societies (Dissolution) (Amendment) Bill 2020, be passed.
3. THE CO-OPERATIVE SOCIETIES (AMENDMENT) BILL 2020 (BILL NO. 18 OF 2020)
A MINISTER to move that the requirements of Rule 95 of the Rules of Procedure of the Provincial Assembly of the Punjab 1997 may be dispensed with under Rule 234 of the said rules, for immediate consideration of the Co-operative Societies (Amendment) Bill 2020.
A MINISTER to move that the Co-operative Societies (Amendment) Bill 2020, as recommended by Special Committee No.8, be taken into consideration at once.
A MINISTER to move that the Co-operative Societies (Amendment) Bill 2020, be passed.

Questions relating to Home Department were asked and answered by Mr. Muhammad Basharat Raja, Minister for Law & Parliamentary Affairs in terms of Notification issued by S&GAD giving additional charge to him to look after the Assembly Business and to reply the Assembly questions.
Government Business
Introduction, Consideration and Passage of Bill
Mr. Muhammad Basharat Raja, Minister for Law & Parliamentary Affairs introduced “The Punjab Tahaffuz-e-Bunyaad-e-Islam Bill 2020”.
Suspension of Rules
On a motion moved by Mr. Muhammad Basharat Raja, Minister for Law & Parliamentary Affairs, the House granted leave to suspend rules 93, 94 and 95 and all other relevant rules of the Rules of Procedure of the Provincial Assembly of the Punjab 1997 in terms of Rule 234 of the Rules ibid, for immediate consideration of “The Punjab Tahaffuz-e-Bunyaad-e-Islam Bill 2020” which was later passed by the House.
Consideration and Passage of Bills
On a separate Motions moved by Mr. Muhammad Basharat Raja, Minister for Law & Parliamentary Affairs that the requirements of Rule 95 of the Rules of Procedure of Provincial Assembly of the Punjab 1997, may be dispensed with under Rule 234 of the rules ibid for immediate consideration of the following Bills, as recommended by Special Committee No.8, which were later passed by the House.
1. The Ravi Urban Development Authority Bill 2020 (Bill No.16 of 2020);
2. The Punjab Undesirable Cooperative Societies (Dissolution) (Amendment) Bill 2020 (Bill No.17 of 2020); and
3. The Co-operative Societies (Amendment) Bill 2020 (Bill No.18 of 2020).
The House was then adjourned at 05:35 p.m. to meet on Thursday, July 23, 2020 at 02:00 p.m.
