Fateha
The House offered Fateha on the sad demise of wife of Malik Rafique Rajwana, former Governor of the Punjab and for Abdul Sattar Vario, former MNA and Minister.
Extension in Time Limit for Laying the Reports
On a Motion moved by Mr. Akhtar Ali Khan, the House granted extension upto 31st March 2020 to the Committee on Privileges for laying its reports on “Privilege Motion Nos. 6, 11, 12, 17, 18, 20, 21, 23, 24, 25 and 26 of the year 2019.
Question Hour
Questions relating to Cooperatives Department were asked and replied by Mehar Muhammad Aslam, the Minister concerned.
Adjournment Motions
Four Adjournment Motions were taken up. The Motion of Ms. Seemabia Tahir moved on 19-12-2019 regarding winding up of “The Punjab AIDS Control Programme” due to the resignation of four Senior Officers and prompt increase in AIDs cases from 129 to 448 in 20 Districts of the Punjab, the Motion of Mr. Naseer Ahmad moved on 27-12-2019 regarding some companies were trying to get their commodities passed by the Federal Government and contacting Council of Common Interest for the purpose since they did not meet the standards set by the Punjab Food Authority, the Motion of Ms. Hina Pervaiz Butt moved on 24-01-2020 regarding refusal by the administration to take up emergency cases in Gynecology Ward at THQ Hospital Muridke and imposing a new rule that only registered cases would be entertained and the remaining would be referred to Lahore, were disposed after replied by the concerned Minister. The Motion moved by Mr. Muhammad Waris Shad regarding severe attack by grass hoppers on crops in different Districts of Punjab, as it happened in Sindh and Balochistan and inability of Punjab Government to take proper action/steps for its eradication, was kept pending.

General Discussion
General discussion on Kashmir Issue, Price Control and Law & Order continued for the third day. Ms. Zakia Khan, Syed Hassan Murtaza, Malik Muhammad Ahmad Khan and Mian Muhammad Aslam Iqbal, Minister for Industries, Commerce & Investment participated in the discussion.
The Quorum was pointed out and the House was adjourned sine die.
