Questions relating to Zakat & Ushr Department were asked and answered by Mr. Shoukat Ali Laleka, the Minister concerned.
Adjournment Motions
Four Adjournment Motions were taken up. The Motion moved by Mr. Muhammad Safdar Shakir regarding devastating condition of two roads in PP-104 in the constituency of the Member concerned, one road from Zafar Chowk, Tehsil Sumundari to Kamalia, Toba Tak Singh and the second road from Adda Muridwala, Tehsil Sumundari to Town Committee, Mamu Kanjan, Tehisil Tandiawala, the Motion moved by Mr. Naseer Ahmad regarding some companies trying to get their commodities passed by the Federal Government and contacting Council of Common Interest for the purpose since they did not meet the standards set by the Punjab Food Authority, the Motion moved by Ms. Mehwish sultana regarding potassium exploration by Asian Precious Mineral at Dahriala Kahon, Tehsil Chua Saiden Shah and at village Kahot of Kallar Kahar without giving public hearing to the residents of the area, since it would be harmful for agricultural land and would also increase environment pollution, were kept pending as the concerned Ministers/Parliamentary Secretaries were not present. The Motion moved by Ms. Shamsa Ali regarding escalation in deaths of infants and their stunted growth due to insufficient diet and increase in child pornography and demanded amendments in Child Development Department, Rules of Business 2011 to encounter all the issues being faced by children, was disposed of after replied by Mr. Muhammad Basharat Raja, Minister for Law & Parliamentary Affairs.

Mr. Muhammad Basharat Raja, Minister for Law & Parliamentary Affairs initiated general discussion on Annual Report of the Punjab Public Service Commission for the year 2017 in the House. Ms. Shamsa Ali participated in the discussion.
Zero Hour
On a motion moved by Chaudry Akhtar Ali regarding Laser Machine to treat cancer patients was out of order and shortage of pain killers to be given to Cancer patients at Mayo Hospital was kept pending as the concerned Minister was not present.
The House was then adjourned at 11:50 a.m. to meet on Monday, December 30, 2019 at 03:00 p.m.
