THE PUNJAB (REGULARIZATION OF SERVICE) BILL 2018
A MINISTER to introduce the Punjab (Regularization of Service) Bill 2018.
A MINISTER to move that the requirements of rule 94 and 95 and all other relevant rules of the Rules of Procedure of the Provincial Assembly of the Punjab 1997 may be suspended under rule 234 of the Rules ibid, for immediate consideration of the Punjab (Regularization of Service) Bill 2018.
A MINISTER to move that the Punjab (Regularization of Service) Bill 2018, be taken into consideration at once.

with a recitation from the Holy Qur’an and its Urdu translation followed by Naat-e-Rasool-e-Maqbool ﷺ.

Fateha
The House offered Fateha on the sad demise of mother of Ms. Fozia Ayub Qureshi, MPA (W-343) and for Mr. Ashique Butt Ex-Driver of Radio Pakistan, who saved Radio Pakistan transmitter from Indian shelling during 1965 war.
The quorum was pointed out at 10:36 a.m. which remained incomplete after ringing bells for five minutes and the Chair adjourned the House for twenty minutes. On resumption at 11:28 a.m. the quorum was complete and the proceedings continued.
Question Hour
Questions relating to Housing, Urban Development & Public Health Engineering Department were on the agenda and kept pending till Monday i.e. 30 April 2018 on the request of concerned Minister/Parliamentary Secretary.
Laying of Report
Ch Muhammad Akram presented before the House the report of Standing Committee on Education in respect of “The Punjab Compulsory Teaching of the Holy Quran Bill 2017 (Bill No. 1 of 2018) moved by Dr. Syed Waseem Akhtar, MPA (PP-271)”.
Adjournment Motion
The Adjournment Motion moved by Ms. Nabila Hakim Ali Khan regarding number of seats of Professors lying vacant in different teaching hospitals of Punjab are being filled on approach ignoring merit, whereas regular Associate Professors retire without getting promotion due to the appointment on approach of these Professors, was kept pending.

Laying of Ordinance
Rana Sana Ullah Khan, Minister for Law & Parliamentary Affairs laid “THE PUNJAB SOUND SYSTEMS (REGULATION) (AMENDMENT) ORDINANCE 2018”, which was referred to the Standing Committee on Home with the direction to submit its report within one month.
At this stage, the quorum was pointed out at 11:41 a.m. After ringing bells for five minutes the quorum was complete and the proceedings continued.
Introduction of Bills
Rana Sana Ullah Khan, Minister for Law & Parliamentary Affairs introduced the following Bills, which were referred to the concerned Standing Committees with the direction to submit their reports within one month:-

Suspension of Rules
On a motion moved by Rana Sana Ullah Khan, Minister for Law & Parliamentary Affairs under Rule 234 of the Rules of Procedure of the Provincial Assembly of the Punjab 1997, the House granted leave to suspend rules 94 and 95 and all other relevant rules of the Rules ibid for immediate consideration of the Punjab (Regularization of Service) Bill 2018.
At this stage, the quorum was pointed out at 12:15 p.m. After ringing bells for five minutes the quorum was complete and the proceedings continued.
Introduction, Consideration and Passage of Bill
Rana Sana Ullah Khan, Minister for Law & Parliamentary Affairs moved “THE PUNJAB (REGULARIZATION OF SERVICE) BILL 2018”, which was passed by the House.
The House was then adjourned at 12:33 p.m. to meet on Monday, April 30, 2018 at 02:00 p.m.
