Col (Retd) Shuja Khanzada son of Mr Yousaf Khanzada was born on August 28, 1943 at Shadi Khan. He graduated in 1966 from Islamia College, Peshawar. He was commissioned in Pakistan Army in 1967 and participated actively in 1971 Indo-Pak war. He served as Instructor/Staff Appointment from 1974 to 1978, 1982 to 1983, commanded 13 Lancers from 1983 to 1985 and was awarded gallantry award “Tamgha-e-Basalat” in 1988 in active enemy action. He was posted as Military Attache to the Embassy of Pakistan in U.S.A. from 1992 to 1994; later, he was seconded to Embassy of Pakistan, as Minister Information. An agriculturist, who has been elected as Member Provincial Assembly of the Punjab in General Elections 2002. He was first appointed as Special Assistant to Chief Minister on January 3, 2003 and now he is functioning as Minister for Chief Minister’s Inspection Team & Implementation and Coordination since November 24, 2003. His uncle, Mr Taj Muhammad Khanzada served as Member National/Provincial Assembly, Majlis-e-Shura during the past 40 years.
