Mr Muhammad Mohsin Khan Leghari son of Col (Retd) Sardar Rafique Ahmed Khan Leghari was born on June 9, 1963 at Dera Ghazi Khan. After initial schooling at Aitchison College Lahore, he attended the University of Oklahoma in the U.S.A. Later, he obtained Certification in Financial Markets from the Securities Institute of Australia and also has a Post Graduate Diploma in Applied Economics from the University of the Punjab. He has worked with the world’s leading financial information and information technology companies before being elected to the Provincial Assembly of the Punjab for the first time in Bye-Elections 2003 against the seat vacated by Sardar Farooq Ahmed Khan Leghari who took oath as MNA. He belongs to a renowned political family. His father served as Member Provincial Assembly of the Punjab during 1993-96 and 1997-99; his uncle, Sardar Farooq Ahmed Khan Leghari was President of Pakistan during 1993-96 and is a sitting MNA; his uncle, Mr Muhammad Jaffer Khan Leghari was Member National Assembly during 1997-99; and is a sitting MNA; his cousin, Mr Awais Ahmed Khan Leghari is a sitting MNA/Federal Minister; his aunt Mina Ehsan Leghari is a sitting MNA; and his cousins, Muhammad Yousaf Khan Leghari (PP-246) and Sardar Muhammad Khan Leghari (PP-243) are sitting members of Punjab Assembly.
