Miss Hameeda Waheed-ud-Din, daughter of Mian Waheed-ud-Din, was born on January 4, 1976 at Mandi Baha-ud-Din. She acquired her early education from Japan till 1992 and after coming from Japan, she learnt Urdu in 6 months and then prepared for Matric examination in 9 months and passed it in Urdu Medium; and then obtained the degree of B.Sc. in 1998 from Lahore College for Women, Lahore. She served as Nazim Union Council No.4. She served as an honorary Advisor to Municipal Committee, Mandi Baha-ud-Din for one and a half year. She has been elected as Member Provincial Assembly of the Punjab in General Elections 2002, and is functioning as Parliamentary Secretary for Literacy & Non- formal Basic Education since August 5, 2003. Her father was Member, Provincial Assembly of the Punjab during 1988-90 and 1990-93.
