Sardar Muhammad Nawaz Khan son of Mr Umer Bukhsh alias Qamer Din Khan was born on June 4, 1948 at Rahim Yar Khan. He graduated in 2007 from Allama Iqbal Open University, Islamabad. An agriculturist, who served as Member, Provincial Assembly of the Punjab during 1993-96 and also functioned as Parliamentary Secretary for Health during 1996. He has returned to the Punjab Assembly for the second term in general elections 2013. He served as Member, District Council Rahim Yar Khan during 1983-87; as Chairman, Union Council Zahir Pir for two terms during 1987-92; and as Nazim, Union Council No.75 Zahir Pir during 2005-08.
