Malik Muhammad Ali Khokhar son of Malik Nisaar Hussain Khokhar was born on January 6, 1971 at Multan. He obtained his early education from Aitchison College, Lahore and graduated in 1992 from Government College, Lahore; then obtained the degree of LL.B (Hons) in 1996 from University of Buckingham, UK. An agriculturist, who was a practicing lawyer during 1998-2001. He also served as Member, Advisory Committee on Agriloans in State Bank of Pakistan. He has been elected as Member, Provincial Assembly of the Punjab in general elections 2013 and is serving as Parliamentary Secretary for Primary and Secondary Healthcare. He is serving as Chairman, Multan Development Authority. He has travelled to UK, Europe, USA, Middle East, India, UAE and Saudi Arabia. His father, remained Member of District Council during 1986-89; his maternal grandfather, Mr Niaz Muhammad Khan (ICS) served as nominated Member of Indian Legislative Council during 1940-42; and his paternal great-grandfather, Malik Faiz Bukhsh was hereditory Member of Divisional Durbar during 1900- 06.
