Profile of the Council of Lieutenant Governor of the Punjab (1916-1920)
Historical Development
The Fourth Council of the Lieutenant Governor was constituted in accordance with the provisions of the Government of India Act, 1915. The council held 29 meetings and 19 Bills were introduced during its life out of which one was withdrawn and 18 formed part of the Statute Book.
